I am a passionate “foodie”. One of my first experiences in the kitchen was on a chair at my Mom’s side trying to peek into the pots and oven as she cooked the family meal. My Mom was an excellent cook having started her food career as a kitchen hand in a major hotel. She guided and mentored me through the years and I will always be thankful and grateful to her.
I am the Director for Innovation and Product Development and known as the “brainchild” behind the Brand and business concept. I am a “hands’- on” and creative manager and I place huge emphasis on customer relations, excellent output and growth initiatives. My attention to detail and customer centric focus is valued by staff, customers and suppliers.
I consider it the greatest privilege and adventure to lead and grow the Eat Smart Brand into new and exciting market opportunities.
I love travelling abroad and visiting village markets, meeting the farmers and producers as they proudly display and enthuse about their produce - see and taste new and amazing foods and bring home some “out of the box” ideas for Eat Smart.
My life at Eat Smart straddles past, present and future. I learn from the past, work in the present and embrace the future.

I am a transformational business leader who loves healthy food.
Born and bred in Cape Town, I have a BCOMM degree with majors in Economics and Accounting. I attended Study Programs at Harvard University (USA), International Institute of Management Development (Switzerland) and INSEAD Business School (France).
I am the co-founder and Director in Chief of Eat Smart.
I am passionate about life – Cape Town is my home and Eat Smart our business. Hiking and climbing mountains are my indulgences. I have a long bucket list of adventures, some of which I have been fortunate to already tick such as Machu Pichu Peru (2007), Kilimanjaro (2009), Everest Base Camp (2014), and Dolomites Italy (2016).
I am privileged to bring my expertise to Eat Smart. I am committed to growing the Brand and profitability of the company - with tasty and flavorful products that are a delight to our customers.
